Changes
This update focuses on protection consistency, safer sign behavior, and quality-of-life improvements.
Added
- Added beacon support.
- Protected beacons cannot be stolen or destroyed directly.
- Beacon base structures remain unprotected.
- Added protection for the block directly under private doors.
- Automatic sign placement now keeps the correct sign wood type instead of always placing oak signs.
Fixed
- Fixed hidden UUID data granting access after an operator changed the visible username on a sign.
- Fixed the main
[Private]sign so only the owner listed on it, or an operator, can break it. - Fixed normal decorative signs attached to private blocks being protected by mistake.
- Decorative signs no longer count as permission signs unless they start with
[Private]or[More Users].
Notes
- This version keeps compatibility with existing protected signs and stored sign data.
- If updating manually, make sure only one Chest SignLock jar is present in the
modsfolder.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
