Changes
Chromatic aberration mod beta1.0.1 for Minecraft 1.21.9.
Fixed:
- The effect could not render at all on 1.21.9. Since 1.21.9 the post-processing screen quad is generated from gl_VertexID, so both passes now use minecraft:core/screenquad instead of a custom vertex shader.
- The aberration strength is written through a std140 uniform buffer that allows COPY_DST; the vanilla pass buffer on 1.21.9 is uniform-only.
- Opening the config screen no longer crashes on 1.21.9 (duplicate background blur and a changed CycleButton API). Toggles are now plain buttons.
- 1.21.9 still names the frame pool Pool (it is ObjectPool from 1.21.11 on).
Both shader passes now use #version 330.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
