🌍 Cobblemon Biome Expanded Spawns
A complete biome, dimension and structure-aware spawn expansion for Cobblemon.

About
Cobblemon Biome Expanded Spawns is a large-scale spawn expansion designed to make Pokémon feel naturally integrated into Minecraft's world.
Instead of relying on broad biome categories, each species can use detailed conditions based on biomes, dimensions, structures, terrain, blocks, weather, time, altitude and spawn position.
The result is a much deeper exploration system where changing environments genuinely changes which Pokémon you encounter.
From familiar Overworld habitats to the Nether, End and entirely new dimensions, every region offers its own Pokémon ecosystem.

🌿 Spawn Environments
Pokémon spawning can depend on much more than a simple biome check.
The datapack includes encounters across a wide variety of environments:
- Forests & Vegetation: Forests, jungles, taigas, grasslands, floral and overgrown biomes.
- Dry & Arid Regions: Deserts, badlands, savannas and other hot environments.
- Aquatic Environments: Rivers, oceans, reefs, submerged terrain, seafloors and surface waters.
- Mountains & Peaks: High-altitude areas, cliffs, mountain ranges and elevated terrain.
- Caves & Underground: Underground environments, deep caves, ores and specific blocks.
- Cold Regions: Snowy, frozen, icy and glacial environments.
- Volcanic Regions: Thermal landscapes, lava-adjacent habitats and volcanic terrain.
- Nether Ecosystems: Fungal forests, basalt regions, Soul Sand environments and Nether wastelands.
- End Ecosystems: End forests, grasslands, crystal environments and barren landscapes.
- Space & Planets: Planetary, orbital and other supported space environments.
Spawn rules can also react to weather, time of day, light level, altitude, vegetation, fluids and specific blocks.
A single Pokémon species can have multiple possible encounters with different environmental conditions and rarity levels.
🏛️ Structure Encounters
Some Pokémon are associated with structures and special locations rather than traditional biomes alone.
Supported environments include locations such as:
- Ancient Cities
- Strongholds
- Woodland Mansions
- Ocean Monuments
- Ocean Ruins
- Ruined Portals
- Pillager Outposts
- Desert Pyramids
- Jungle Temples
- Trail Ruins
- End Cities
- Nether Fortresses
- Nether Fossils
- Bastion environments
- Deeper and Darker Ancient Temples
Compatibility is also included for selected YUNG's Better Structure replacements.
These encounters encourage exploration beyond ordinary biome hunting, giving certain Pokémon more specific locations where they can be discovered.
✨ Special Encounters & Spawn Mechanics
Beyond general biome compatibility, the datapack includes additional mechanics and carefully configured encounters.
- PokéSnack Spawns: Additional entries using PokéSnack-compatible spawn conditions.
- Submerged Encounters: Expanded underwater spawning for aquatic Pokémon.
- Melmetal: Ultra Rare encounters in the Deep Dark.
- Vivillon: Pattern-specific spawning influenced by environmental conditions.
- Gimmighoul: Updated roaming encounter behavior.
- Manaphy & Phione: Fishing encounters with lure-related requirements.
- Regice: Grounded encounters in suitable glacial environments.
- Jirachi, Helioptile, Heliolisk, Cacturne & Flygon: Additional biome options.
- Herds & Alphas: Additional group-oriented and Alpha encounter configurations.
- Habitats: Specialized spawning environments beyond regular biome categories.
These systems are designed to make discovering different Pokémon a meaningful part of exploring Minecraft's world.
