MythsAndLegends Mod v1.8.3 – Changelog
THE “HAHA HIHI I FINALLY FIXED IT FOR REAL” UPDATE 🤡🔧✨
DataFixerUpper Madness Resolved
Sooo… funny story. I was using DataFixerUpper to import old items — haha hihi — which technically works… but only if you upgrade Minecraft from 1.20.1 → 1.21.1 in the correct order.
The problem? MythsAndLegends 1.7.2 already ran on 1.21.1, and I kept testing everything with old worlds from older MC versions like an absolute clown 🤡💀
Long story short: Yeah… it was my fault. The conversions didn’t run properly because the versions didn’t match. BUT it’s finally fixed now — for real.
The Actual Fix
- The entire DataFixer pipeline has been adjusted to correctly handle item imports even from worlds that jumped versions incorrectly.
- Old items now convert as they should, no matter how cursed your world upgrade path was.
- Updating to 1.8.3 should now be completely safe for everyone.
Final Verdict
Everyone should be good to go with 1.8.3 — no more item issues! :))
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
