Changes
Your table fills flat ground again on Cobblemon 1.8.2, and its screen now looks like Cobblemon's. 🧺
Re-rolls
- A re-roll spawns on flat ground again with Cobblemon 1.8.2. Cobblemon 1.8.2 changed how it places the area a re-roll searches, and on flat ground — a grass platform over the ocean, a plain — that area ended up just above the grass, so the table said there was nowhere to spawn while wild Pokémon spawned there on their own. Each search now checks with Cobblemon where its area will land and keeps the ground inside it.
- A re-roll no longer comes back empty where only rare Pokémon live. Cobblemon picks a rarity first and only then looks for a Pokémon of that rarity, so where only rare ones live almost every try came up empty. When the rarity it picks has nothing here, the re-roll now tries the others, keeping Cobblemon's odds between them.
- Nothing spawns on top of the table anymore. On a small platform the re-roll searches right around the table, and a whole group could come out standing on the food. Picnic blocks are now off-limits, and so is a small clearance around you (2 blocks by default, set in the config).
- Flying Pokémon spawn already in the air. They used to appear on the ground and then jump up in front of you; now the first place you see them is mid-flight. Which Pokémon spawn is unchanged.
- Every re-roll is written to
latest.log. One line says what the table cleared and spawned, and one more per Pokémon gives its species, level and position, so a bug report already carries what happened. It can be turned off in the config.
The table screen
- The table screen is redrawn in Cobblemon's style. A charcoal frame with grey panels, the same look as Cobblemon's own screens, above the familiar light inventory.
- Each table shows its tier in the header. Three stripes in the top corner take the table's colour: red for Basic, green for Advanced, gold for Expert, blue for Diving, orange for Hot and purple for Strange.
- The count buttons light up on hover and grey out when they would do nothing. At zero the two lowering buttons are dimmed, and at the table's cap the two raising ones are; a bar under the number shows how close you are to that cap.
- Each slot is labelled on its own side. "Bread" sits to the left of the bread slot and "Seeker" to the right of the seeker slot, so the two no longer read as one phrase. On a table that cannot take a Battle Seeker, its slot shows a padlock.
Bug reports
- Bug reports from Discord get exactly one reply when they are closed. An old workflow that was meant to answer and lock the report's thread had stopped matching any report filed through the current bot, while still running every six hours. It is gone; the intake bot posts the closing message on its own, and the thread is no longer locked.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
