Changes
Cobblemon Quests Reloaded 2.0.2: Fixes & Stability
Compatible with all Cobblemon 1.8.x versions (Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric & NeoForge).
Quest Progress
- Trainer victories: A single win now counts only once, even when the trainer has several identifiers.
- In-battle captures: Capturing a Pokémon during a battle is no longer counted twice.
- Terastallization: Now counted once, only through Cobblemon's own event.
- Raids: A raid win counts once per team instead of once per member.
- Pokédex scanning: The same Pokémon can no longer be scanned repeatedly, and Pokémon you already own don't count.
- Trades: Trades between members of the same team no longer advance quests.
- Evolution: The "evolve" task now checks the pre-evolution species, not the evolved one.
- Level up: Level filters now see the Pokémon's new level.
- Mega Evolution: Taking off and putting back a Mega Stone no longer gives unlimited progress.
Filters
- Species & abilities: Matching is now exact, so "Mew" no longer matches Mewtwo.
- Trainers: Names are matched exactly first, then partially, so existing quests keep working.
- Minimum level: The minimum level now applies even when no maximum level is set.
- Aspects: The aspects filter now works and can be edited in the quest editor.
- Blacklist: Names with spaces or punctuation like "Mr. Mime" or "Type: Null" are now recognized.
Pokémon Submission
- Security: The server rejects submissions for quests that are still locked.
- Protection: You can no longer submit a Pokémon while in a battle or trade, or submit your last party member.
- Reliability: Pokémon are identified by UUID, so the wrong Pokémon can no longer be removed.
Crash Fixes
- Quest book: Picking the "any" option in the Pokémon list no longer crashes the client.
- Trainer config: A malformed trainers.json no longer crashes the game on startup.
MongoDB
- Performance: Syncing now runs in the background and no longer slows the server down.
- Reliability: Only the most recent copy of team data is loaded, and players are resynced afterwards.
- Robustness: If the database can't be reached, syncing is turned off cleanly without freezing the server.
Miscellaneous
- Console: The mod no longer prints anything to the console unless there is a real error.
- Raid Dens: Compatibility is isolated and only loads when the mod is installed.
- Translations: The French translation is complete, missing keys were added and the Chinese language file was fixed.
- Old quests: Quests using the old "reel" and "register" actions are converted automatically.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
