[1.5.0] — 2026-04-18 — "Streamline Update"
GUI overhaul based on Cora's mod review. Removes unnecessary features from the player-facing interface, simplifies navigation to a single main screen, and adds dedicated Milestone and Leaderboard GUIs.
Fixed
- Stars balance not tracked for leaderboards —
depositStars()now incrementslifetimeStarsEarnedalongsidestarsBalance. The "Most Stars" leaderboard category previously always showed 0 for all players because lifetime earnings were never recorded during deposits.
Removed
- Settings GUI — the player settings page (HUD toggle, server quest bar toggle) is no longer accessible from the main menu. Not necessary for the player experience.
- Admin button in GUI — removed from the player-facing menu.
Admins use
/quests admininstead. - Quest Chains in player GUI — chains tile and
/quests chainscommand removed from the player flow. The chain backend and admin tools remain intact for future use. - Quest Bar (Boss Bar HUD) — the per-player boss bar showing
closest quest progress is no longer registered or active. The
/quests hudcommand has been removed.
Changed — Main GUI (complete redesign)
- Single 6-row layout replaces the old 3-row hub + sub-page flow. All active quests are now visible on the main screen.
- Quest items — incomplete quests show as gray dye, completed quests show as lime dye. Full quest info (description, progress bar, rewards, claim status) displayed in the lore.
- Row 0: Netherite Sword (leaderboard) + Clock (daily/weekly reset timers in lore — no sub-menu).
- Rows 1-2: Daily quests.
- Rows 3-4: Weekly quests.
- Row 5: Blaze Powder (daily streak + weekly stats in lore — no sub-menu) + Diamond (opens Milestone GUI) + Barrier (close).
Added — Milestone GUI
- New MilestoneGui — 3-row chest opened via the Diamond button on the main menu.
- Shows configured milestone thresholds as lime dye (completed) or gray dye (incomplete), centered in row 1.
- Each milestone displays progress, required count, and rewards in lore.
- Barrier back button returns to the main menu.
Added — Leaderboard GUI (redesign)
- New LeaderboardGui — 6-row chest replacing the old 4-category hub + paginated list.
- Displays top 16 players in a triangle/pyramid formation using player heads.
- Only shows total quests completed (single category).
- Top 3 highlighted in gold, own rank highlighted in green with glow.
- Book (bottom-left) shows your rank and quest count.
- Barrier (bottom-right) returns to the main menu.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
