[1.6.1] — 2026-04-19 — "Discord Feedback Patch"
Bug fixes and polish from player reports.
Fixed — Leaderboard shows real names for offline players
- Player names are stamped on every join and persisted in
<world>/cobblemonquests/<uuid>.json. LeaderboardManager.rebuild()now scans the full player-data directory (not just currently-cached players), so the leaderboard lists every player who has ever joined and shows their name even when they're offline. Previously, offline players disappeared or rendered as a UUID fragment like "a3f8c2b1".
Fixed — Milestone reward lore no longer exposes raw commands
MilestoneGuiwas callingReward.summary()directly instead ofReward.summary(RewardFormats). The result: command rewards read "run: padmin givekey (player) 15 Rare Crate" in the player GUI.- Now routes through the configured
reward-formats.commandinmain_menu.conf, defaulting to<aqua>Special Reward</aqua>. - Same fix applied to
CommunityGoalGui,ServerQuestGui, andChainDetailGui.
Added — Per-reward display override
- Every reward (in quest files, milestone thresholds, streak rewards)
now accepts an optional
display = "..."field that replaces the reward's lore text with custom MiniMessage. Example:{ type = "command", command = "padmin givekey {player} 15 Rare Crate", display = "<light_purple>15x Rare Crate</light_purple>" } - Default milestone + streak configs updated with
displayexamples on every command/item reward so operators can see the pattern.
Added — Auto-highlighted numbers in quest descriptions
- Plain standalone digits in quest description lines are automatically
wrapped in
<yellow>…</yellow>so every quest renders numbers in the same accent color. Digits that are already inside a MiniMessage tag (e.g.<yellow>3</yellow>) are left untouched. Fixes the "Visit 3 dimensions" vs "Catch <yellow>5</yellow> …" inconsistency.
Added — Reward-grant chat notification
- After every reward payout (quest claim, milestone, streak) the
player sees a one-line confirmation for each currency granted:
★ +250 Stars/$+5000 PokeDollars. Makes stars deliveries visible instead of silent.
Changed — Default use_5_pokeballs quest description
- Clarified that any ball type (Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Premier
Ball, etc.) counts toward the objective — the empty
filters {}block already matches every ball, but the description now says so explicitly. Inline comment shows how to restrict to specific balls.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
