Improvements
- Chunks whose blocks keep changing every tick, such as redstone contraptions, are no longer fully recaptured after every single update. Rapid updates now fold into one recapture per hold-off window, cutting full-chunk captures by about 89% in a redstone-flicker benchmark, with the final change still appearing one tick after the flicker stops. A new Live Recapture Interval slider in the performance settings (0–100 ticks, default 10; 0 restores the old behavior) controls the window.
Fixes
- Cave and nether floor layers no longer show scattered plant dots from flowers, mushrooms, saplings, and lush-cave or nether plants, while torches, rails, snow, and moss carpets still render. The Conflux-style surface also stops drawing grass tufts, matching the already-synced map.
- The Xaero map style now also hides soul torches, redstone torches, and stained-glass overlays on the surface, matching what Xaero's own scan shows.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
