CraftBound OneBlock 1.0.0 — Release
This release caps off the beta and marks Craftbound OneBlock's first full 1.0! Thanks to everyone who played through the beta and reported issues — this build brings a lot of new content on top of a more stable foundation.
Added
- In-game stats menu — press
Oanytime to open a 6-tab panel: Progress, Achievements, Perks, Stats, Log, and Settings. - 14 achievements to unlock as you progress through the phases.
- Event Log — a running history of your recent milestones, chest rewards, and other notable moments, right there in the stats menu.
- Recipe Book integration — new recipes unlock automatically as you reach new phases.
- Three new random events: Wandering Trader (phase-appropriate trades), Meteor (a "Void Rift" that drops rare loot), and rare Miniboss encounters.
- Perk system — earn perk points at key milestones and spend them on 9 permanent gameplay bonuses (choose 8 of 9 across a full playthrough).
- 5 cosmetic block auras — unlock new particle effects for your OneBlock as you progress, purely for flair.
- Elite Zombie — a rare, randomly-geared Monster Wave variant with a shot at dropping its gear.
- Config file support — server owners can now tune thresholds, chances, and cooldowns without a code change.
Changed
- Rebalanced the Starter phase's block pool (more dirt/grass) and capped Crafting Tables at 2 per world.
- Enriched the End phase with more block and chest-loot variety.
- Reworked the mining loot pools so themed chests feel more distinct from each other, with less repetition of torches and coal.
- Late-game Monster Waves now stay just as threatening as the mid-game peak instead of tapering off.
- Reduced Stone Caves' bat swarms in favor of a proper mix of zombies, skeletons, and spiders.
Upgrading from an earlier beta? Your world carries over safely, and any perk points you'd already earned from milestones you've passed will be granted automatically the first time you load in.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
