Hotfix!

Well, took too long to be exactly "hot"

This update 1.2 is just a fix. Now the whole config file should work better and most importantly, Cravings! Should no longer crash with half the mods in the site! Good thing the fix was similar to my other mod so it was pretty painless after that.

Aside from that, nothing was added. I will paste the previous update's changelog because that's the actual big update, and it got done dirty. Thanks a lot for the patience!

This is probably it for Cravings! for now. I am already working on my next mod and alongside it, some additions for Cravings! will come with it, alongside other performance fixes, but yeah. Thanks for enjoying my mod so much, and have fun with cravings!

Cravings! 1.2 Update!

New stuff:

• Craving Streaks: Fulfilling 5 cravings in a row will now reward you with slightly enhanced bonuses on the fifth craving.

• Potion of Hunger: Brew rotten flesh into an awkward potion to create this new, simple potion. It’s mostly here to serve as a base for the Palate Cleanser. (No configs for this one, sorry.)

• Palate Cleanser Potion: Sweeten a Hunger Potion with a honeycomb to brew this new thingy! It lets you reroll your craving instantly without losing your streak or resetting your cooldown.

• Upset Stomach Effect: A configurable cooldown for the Palate Cleanser. Cravings are not a thing you control, after all.

• Craving Timers: The effects that show your current craving now also display how long you have to fulfill it before it changes. You can disable this and restore the old “infinite” timer if you prefer the suspense or dislike the tension of timers.

• New Advancements: Two new advancements, one for hitting a Craving Streak, and another for using the Palate Cleanser.

• Diminishing Health Compatibility: Added a compatibility feature when both Cravings! 1.2.1 and Diminishing Health 1.3 onwards are installed! Check DH’s mod page for details, since the added mechanic is really for that.

Changes:

• Config Behavior: Visual settings such as the effect reminder toggle have been moved to server-side configs. I will find a way to make them work in multiplayer per-client one day, this is a band-aid fix.

Hello! Firstly, thanks to everyone who has enjoyed Cravings! I honestly never expected it to be nearly as well-loved as it was (even featured by Enderverse????) but I am so glad it was. Even tho it started a “let’s see if I can do it” project, I put a lot of love into it and every time I play it, I feel proud of creating such a cute mod.

Also, I know Palate cleanser is also a bit of an out-there mechanic (I’m very guilty of feature creep), but I had the idea, thought I could expand it nicely, and I think it ended up being quite the cute and mildly useful thingy.

Of course, if you find any bugs, have any recommendations, questions or just wanna share your thoughts, please feel free. I adore reading people’s thoughts about my mods. I will always keep these two projects in development, since I truly love them, as cheesy as that sounds. Thanks again and have fun with Cravings!
