Upgrade notes
Settings moved from the common config to a per-world server config (serverconfig/create_archived-server.toml). Values from config/create_archived-common.toml are not carried over, so set them again if you changed them. Client and server must run the same version of the mod. Create 6.0.0 or newer is now a declared requirement; tested with Create 6.0.10 and 6.0.11.
Bug fixes
Chutes: a partially filled buffer is now released after chuteFlushTicks (default 40) without new items. Before, the tail of a stream, or a second item type arriving, could stall the line forever. Buffers are capped at 99 items and no longer merge already-compressed stacks, which could lose items. Crushing Wheels: large compressed stacks no longer lose items (400 obsidian used to yield 20 powder). Encased Fans also return one stack per result instead of one per roll. Mechanical Drills: the buffer is dropped when the drill is broken instead of vanishing, and mined blocks keep their data (a shulker box no longer loses its contents). Tool, loot and after-break behaviour are Create’s own again. Dropped items: compressed stacks that end up in the world are split into normal-sized item entities instead of one oversized stack. Inventories: simulated insertions of compressed stacks no longer promise space that does not exist. Comparators: the signal for compressed stacks now matches the same items as normal stacks, using Create’s own rounding. Only Create’s own belts, chutes and funnels are treated as compression-aware.
Improvements
The in-game config screen is fully translated (English, Russian, French), shows the real defaults, and explains where to edit settings when no singleplayer world is open. New option chuteFlushTicks. Safer on other Create versions: the Create-specific parts are only applied on tested versions (6.0.10 up to, not including, 6.1.0). Elsewhere the mod stays loaded but inactive and logs an error, instead of crashing. Required dependencies are declared; YACL is optional. Fewer mixins that conflict with other mods.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
