v0.6.0 - Stability Update
Technical Bugfixes (Changes from v0.5.5)
The focus of this update is resolving critical technical issues identified in version 0.5.5 to ensure a reliable gameplay experience.
- World Generation Fixes: Resolved an issue where creating new worlds or loading into new chunks would cause the game to hang or fail. These repairs ensure that world-gen features register correctly during the initialization cycle.
- Model Geometry Repairs: Fixed several block and item models that were broken or failed to render in v0.5.5. All visual assets, including independent block models, have been repaired and now render correctly in-game.
- Registry Alignment: Standardized internal data to prevent "missing block" errors and conflicts when upgrading existing worlds from v0.5.5.
- Chunk Loading Optimization: Improved how the mod handles data during movement to reduce stuttering and performance drops when crossing into newly generated areas.
Legacy Advancements
In addition to the stability repairs, this version restores classic progression milestones to provide a more guided experience.
- Legacy Restoration: Re-integrated 5 specific advancements from the legacy version. These milestones reward players for mastering core automation loops and reaching key industrial turning points.
Note: It is recommended to back up your v0.5.5 worlds before upgrading to v0.6.0 to ensure a smooth transition with the new generation fixes.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
