v0.7.5 - The Configuration Update
Customization & Logic
This update focuses on player agency and moving hardcoded mechanics into accessible configurations.
- Enhanced Configifiability: Transitioned core systems, including natural breeding and overbinding damage, into the configuration menu.
- Fragrance Fix: Corrected the
block.createbeyondlimits.fragrancetranslation error for proper in-game display. - Percentage-Based Breeding: Replaced the old "1 in X" math with a percentage-based chance for more intuitive control over animal populations.
Ponder & Documentation
Visual guides have been overhauled to reflect the current state of the 0.7.x mechanics.
- Refined Ponders: Added Ponders for The Malice and The Cinder Fragrances And Updated The Bastion fragrance to ensure it animations match the latest soul-binding logic.
Technical Maintenance
Under-the-hood refinements to ensure the mod remains performant on varied hardware.
- Logic Optimization: Refactored animal and player tick events to reduce CPU overhead, specifically targeting better performance for iGPU users.
- Code Cleanup: Removed unused Mixin configurations and fixed
mods.tomldependency variables to ensure a cleaner launch cycle.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
