Changes
Create: Covered 1.1.0 — Forge 1.20.1
First Forge 1.20.1 release, bringing the features and fixes from Covered 1.1.0 to Create 6.0.8.
- Added persistent cover storage and multiplayer synchronization for Forge.
- Adapted rendering to Minecraft 1.20.1, including optional Embeddium 0.3.31 integration.
Added
- Added covers for Fluid Pipes, Encased Fluid Pipes, Glass Fluid Pipes, Smart Fluid Pipes, Mechanical Pumps and Fluid Valves.
- Added project and bug report links to the mod metadata.
Fixed
- Breaking a covered mechanism now returns its cover through normal block loot, including when broken by Create's automated machines.
- Covers are preserved when encasing shafts or converting between supported pipe types.
- Fixed cover synchronization during block conversions so clients receive the replacement block before its cover.
- Kept cover transfers separate from loot drops to avoid extra items during creative removal or contraption movement.
- Model wrapping and block colors now use the bundled coverable-block list, removing outdated Belt Tunnel entries.
Notes
- Belt Tunnels remain excluded from cover support.
- Smart Fluid Pipe filters remain interactive while covered. Pump direction arrows and Glass Fluid Pipe fluid rendering are hidden by the cover.
- Block replacements that do not generate loot, such as commands, do not return cover items.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
