Changes
Fixed
- Server crash with Create: Numismatics 1.1.0. Placing a Vendor, or loading a chunk that contains one, crashed the server and left the world unplayable. Vendors now work with both Numismatics 1.0.x and 1.1.x. Thanks to radaelilucca for the first fix!
- A broken shop can no longer crash the server. If a shop mod changes its API again, the error is written to the log and the server keeps running.
- Wrong coin prices. Coin values were shifted by one step, so a price of 1 Crown showed as 1 Cog. All prices now match Numismatics.
- Long prices overlapped the Owner and Mode columns. Prices are now drawn as Numismatics coin icons and always fit their column. Hover a row to see the full price as coins.
- "Add to map" did nothing on Xaero's Minimap 24+ ("Couldn't open the Xaero waypoint menu").
- Shops kept their listing after the Vendor or Table Cloth was cleared or lost its owner.
- Top Sellers counted fake sales whenever an owner edited a Table Cloth offer.
- Clicks in the Shops filter sidebar hit the wrong row when a long section (e.g. Items) was expanded.
Improved
- Fair market prices. The Market tab now compares Vendor prices per item and quotes them for the most common lot size ("8 Cog /64"), so shops selling 1 and 64 items no longer produce a meaningless average.
- Item variants are separate stocks. For example, differently enchanted books each get their own price and history.
- Steadier trend arrows. The latest price is compared with the average of recent snapshots instead of just the previous one.
- Better server performance:
- removed a once-per-second scan of every Table Cloth;
- opening the shop list triggers a full rescan at most once every 10 seconds;
- Display Links reuse cached market data.
New
- Server config at
serverconfig/stockmarket-server.toml:- snapshot interval and history length;
- trend sensitivity and the "high activity" threshold;
- how long history of untraded items is kept (7 days by default);
- permission level for
/shoplist; - custom display names for stocks.
- Datapack item tags to control what appears on the market:
#stockmarket:tradableacts as a whitelist once it has entries;#stockmarket:hiddenalways hides an item.
Translations
- Every piece of UI text is translatable now, so resource packs can translate the whole mod.
- Full translations for Russian (new), Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Turkish and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional); Belarusian updated.
- Want to help? Translate on Crowdin.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge
- Create 6.0.9+
- Create: Numismatics 1.0.19+ (including 1.1.0)
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
