Create: Sulfuric Resonance 0.4.0 — Reactive Tools
Reactive Tools expands CSR’s field equipment and advanced resonance infrastructure with three completed throwable-item passes and the new Catalyst Bed for the Sulfuric Resonance Chamber.
ADDED
Catalyst Bed
• Added the Catalyst Bed as a physical upgrade placed directly beneath a Sulfuric Resonance Chamber.
• Accelerates active Chamber processing to 1.5× its normal speed without changing recipes, displayed durations, ingredients, heat requirements, RPM requirements, acid consumption, automation, or operating modes.
• Installing or removing the Catalyst Bed during a reaction immediately adjusts the processing rate without resetting progress.
• Only the Catalyst Bed directly beneath a Chamber applies. Additional Beds do not stack the acceleration.
• Added connected and disconnected model states, Engineer’s Goggle information, block loot, item models, a crafting recipe, creative-tab placement, and the Resonant Foundation advancement.
• Added a dedicated Ponder scene covering installation, acceleration, live removal, and non-stacking behavior.
Cinder Flare
• Added a staged 1.5-second ignition sequence using Flint and Steel in the off hand.
• Added synchronized striking sounds, sparks, flame effects, and dedicated lit and unlit item states.
• Added throwable Lit Cinder Flares with persistent flame presentation and multiplayer-aware entity behavior.
Sulfuric Acid Flask
• Added throwable Sulfuric Acid Flasks with dedicated projectile rendering and synchronized impact behavior.
• Flask impacts apply Acid Burn and remove one oxidation stage from up to three copper blocks.
• Added water interaction, impact cleanup, localized tooltips, and entity presentation.
Pyroclast Bomb Overhaul
• Rebuilt hand throwing around a deliberate short wind-up and arcing trajectory.
• Added controlled impact demolition of up to five blocks, moderate combat damage, restrained knockback, and a limited ignition chance.
• Water can now extinguish a Pyroclast Bomb, allowing it to be recovered.
• Added a dedicated detonation sound with subtitle support, pyroclastic fragments, smoke, flame, flash, and debris effects.
• Added Create Potato Cannon ammunition support alongside normal hand throwing.
Localization
• Added complete Catalyst Bed names, tooltips, advancement text, Engineer’s Goggle information, and Ponder documentation across all eight supported languages.
CHANGED
• Updated the Sulfuric Acid Bucket texture.
• Reduced Acid Burn damage from 2 hearts per second to 1.5 hearts per second.
FIXED
• Fixed connected Thermochemical Link Drives inheriting a single three-block heat span when every Link Drive was directly attached to its own active Steam Engine-powered shaft.
• Each direct boiler-powered shaft connection now acts as a local thermochemical heat source for its attached Link Drive.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
