Changes
Create: Sulfuric Resonance 0.2.7-beta — Reactive Heat
0.2.7 expands the thermal side of Sulfuric Resonance into a connected factory system.
Heat from the Molten Rotor Furnace can now be distributed through dedicated thermochemical infrastructure, used to power processing systems, monitored remotely, and carried into new automation setups.
New Thermal Network
Added:
- Thermochemical Shaft
- Thermochemical Conduit
- Thermochemical Gearbox
- Combustion Belt
- Thermal Relay Switch
Thermochemical components can carry furnace heat through a factory while respecting network distance and connection rules.
The system supports Create-style kinetic layouts while keeping heat transport separate from ordinary rotation.
Combustion Belt
The Combustion Belt introduces temperature-dependent belt processing.
Items can now be processed directly while traveling through heated factory lines.
Features include:
- Heated processing
- Superheated processing
- Combustion-tier processing
- Dedicated JEI integration
- Dedicated Ponder scene
- Thermochemical network integration
Thermal Relay Switch
The Thermal Relay Switch provides remote furnace monitoring and redstone control.
It can:
- Link to a Molten Rotor Furnace
- Monitor furnace temperature
- Select temperature thresholds
- Output analog redstone signals
- Detect low-fuel conditions
- Display detailed information with Engineer's Goggles
Output strength:
- Heated: 5
- Superheated: 10
- Combustion: 15
New Fuel Progression
Added several new furnace fuels:
- Coke
- Molten Ember Pellet
- Infernal Coke
- Carbon Block
- Infernal Carbon Block
- Cinder Fuel Briquette
These provide new choices between burn duration, achievable temperature, and progression requirements.
Expanded Materials
Added and expanded:
- Wet Ash Ceramic
- Ash Ceramic belt processing
- Unfired Ash Bricks
- Ash Bricks
- Acid-Resistant Ceramic
- Obsidian Cloth
- Unfinished Filament
- Cinder Filament
- Acid-Etched Copper Sheet
Ash Ceramic production now includes a dedicated wet intermediate before thermal processing.
Ponder
Sulfuric Resonance now includes 10 Ponder scenes covering major machinery and thermal systems.
New and revised scenes cover:
- Molten Rotor Furnace
- Thermal Relay Switch
- Perforated Spritzer
- Thermochemical Shaft
- Thermochemical Conduit
- Thermochemical Gearbox
- Combustion Belt
Advancements
The advancement tree has been expanded with new progression and hidden challenges tied to thermal machinery, combustion processing, sulfur chemistry, and factory experimentation.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
