Creative Toolkit+ b2.4.0
Tabbed in-game config menu, Mod Menu integration, side-mode toggle, 18 new keybinds, and a brand-new Control category for client-side player customization.
For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta
What's new
This release is all about how you use the mod day to day. The single-page settings screen is gone, replaced by a tabbed menu that mirrors how Minecraft groups vanilla options. Mod Menu support means it shows up where every other mod's config lives. And the new Control category gives you client-side movement / inventory tweaks that don't need a server.
A real config UI
- Tabbed sidebar layout. Eight tabs: General · Enchanting · Waypoint · Time · Player · Control · Lists · About. Each one only shows the toggles that belong to it.
- Mod Menu support. If you have Mod Menu installed, our config screen is one click away from the mods list. (Mod Menu is not required — open the screen via
/ec config,/ec-config, or a custom keybind.) - About tab tells you whether Mod Menu is detected and shows the running mod version.
Side-mode toggle
A new Execution mode dropdown at the top of the General tab: Client only · Server only · Both (recommended). It controls which categories of features are allowed to run on this install — useful for strict client-only setups, server-managed installs, and players who want to fence the mod off from one side of the network.
18 keybinds you can assign
Every feature now has its own keybind. They all default to Unbound so the mod ships silent — bind only what you want, in Options → Controls → Key Binds → Creative Toolkit+ (we registered our own custom category there so they're easy to find):
| Category | Keybinds |
|---|---|
| General | Open config |
| Enchanting | Apply book to hovered stack · Open vanilla menu · Open OP menu |
| Waypoint | Open waypoint manager |
| Time | Set Day · Set Night · Set Noon · Set Midnight |
| Player | Quick heal · Quick feed · /back 1 step · Open ender chest |
| Control | Toggle auto-sprint · Secondary sprint · Secondary drop (one) · Secondary drop (stack) |
Each fires the same op-gated server action that the matching slash command uses, so server admins keep full control.
New: Control category
Client-side player input customization, no server needed:
- Auto-sprint — sprint kicks in automatically when you hold forward (and you're not crouching, using an item, or starving).
- Auto-sprint toggle keybind — flip auto-sprint on/off mid-session. Latches by default; can be configured as a one-shot start-sprinting trigger.
- Secondary sprint key — bind a second key as duplicate sprint. Great for left-handers, thumb buttons, or controllers.
- Secondary drop keys — two extra keys that drop one item / a whole stack. Independent of the vanilla drop binding.
- Safe drop — when on, vanilla's drop key does nothing if your main hand is empty. Stops accidental "Q in inventory" disasters.
Highlights from before
If you're new, here's what was already in the mod:
- Right-click / shift-click apply — drop an enchanted book on an item to apply its enchantments.
/ec menuand/ec menu-op— vanilla-styled enchanting screens; the OP variant lets you set any level on anything./ec sharpness 5—/ecworks as a/enchantshortcut, with self-targeting when no target is given.- Waypoint manager — vanilla-styled per-player UI with search, edit mode, 4×4 color picker, two-step delete confirm, and "Move waypoint to my current position". Persists per player to the world's
data/folder. /back [n]— teleport back to where you were, with full history and death-location tracking./heal,/feed,/enderchest,/day,/night,/noon,/midnight— small creative-mode QoL commands.
Installation
- Fabric Loader 0.19.0+ for any 26.1.x Minecraft release.
- Fabric API in your
mods/folder. - (Optional) Mod Menu if you want our config in the mods list.
- Drop
creativetoolkitplus-b2.4.0.jarinmods/. - Launch.
The first run creates config/creativetoolkitplus.json you can hand-edit. All in-game changes save to the same file.
Compatibility
- Minecraft:
26.1.x(any patch — 26.1.0, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.1.3 …) - Loader: Fabric Loader 0.19.0+
- Required: Fabric API
- Optional: Mod Menu 18.0.0-beta.1+ (for 26.1)
- Java: 25 (already required by MC 26.1)
- Side: server + client; can be installed on either side alone
Existing config files from b2.3.0 and earlier load unchanged — new fields fall back to defaults (executionMode = BOTH, all Control toggles off, all new keybinds unbound).
Known caveats
- Keybind rebinding flows through vanilla controls, not the in-screen widget. The keybind rows in the new menu show the current binding and tooltip; actual rebinding happens in Options → Controls → Key Binds → Creative Toolkit+. We made this trade to avoid getting tangled in the moving 26.x input API surface — see the in-app About tab for context.
- Mod Menu integration requires Mod Menu 18.0.0-beta.1 or newer for 26.1. Earlier Mod Menu builds target older MC and won't see our entrypoint.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
