b2.2.1
Compatibility
Changes
Creative Toolkit+ b2.2.1
Bug-fix release. Shift-click apply no longer eats your target item, and the enchant menu UI was rewritten to fix invisible text and missing slot wells.
For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta
What's fixed
Shift-click apply no longer destroys items
If you used the new b2.1.1 shift-click flow on a server, your item could disappear (server applied the enchant in place; client thought the item moved). That's gone.
Under the hood we split EnchantApplicator into a side-agnostic shouldIntercept(...) (purely structural — only consults synced state) and a server-only applyServerSide(...). The mixin now decides "do we swallow this click?" identically on both sides, eliminating the divergent-prediction window. As a belt-and-braces measure, every server-side early-return path also calls resyncSlots(handler) so the client always gets an authoritative snapshot.
Enchant menus (/ec menu, /ec menu-op) were unreadable
The previous 320×234 panel had two stacked rendering bugs in 26.1:
- Text colors written without an alpha byte (
0x404040) came through as fully transparent, so titles, item names, badge text, and enchant labels were all invisible. - Custom-painted backgrounds don't get vanilla's slot wells, so empty inventory slots blended into the panel.
The screen has been rewritten with:
- A new 200×230 layout close to the vanilla enchanting-table footprint.
- Input slot top-left, item name + applied-enchant count next to it.
- A sunken scrollable list (5 visible rows) with a draggable scrollbar thumb + mouse-wheel.
- Three small per-row buttons:
−+×. Shift = ×10, Ctrl = ×100 (OP mode only). Tooltips document this. - Rows sorted with applied enchants first, then alphabetical.
- A mode badge in the top-right (green
VANILLA/ redOP MENU) for at-a-glance disambiguation. - All text + fill colors carry the explicit
0xFFalpha byte that 26.1's renderer requires. - Manually drawn 18×18 sunken slot wells for the input slot, all 27 inventory slots, and all 9 hotbar slots.
New string
creativetoolkitplus.label.insert_item— "Insert an item to enchant". Shown in the empty list area when no item is in the input slot.
What's not changed
b2.2.0's waypoint system,/back,/heal,/feed,/enderchest,/day//night//noon//midnight./ecsyntax and self-targeting.- The right-click apply pipeline.
- The on-disk config schema.
This is a drop-in replacement for b2.2.0. No config edits required.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
