b2.6.1

Changes
Creative Toolkit+ b2.6.1
In-game UX polish pass — every menu the mod ships got a once-over. Two-step Delete and Reset confirms, inline validation, a dirty-Save indicator, a clear active-tab visual, grouped Enchanting settings, plus one new chat command (
/waypoint setpos) that closes the last gap between the UI and the chat surface.

What's new
b2.6.0 overhauled the enchant menu screen. b2.6.1 is a focused polish release that makes the existing Waypoint Manager, Enchant Menu, and Configuration screens nicer to live in.
No new big features — just the small, accumulated rough edges we found while auditing every menu and command.
Two-step Delete in the waypoint list
The per-row Delete button used to fire the moment you clicked it. Now the first click arms the button (label flips to Confirm? in red, with a tooltip telling you to click again within 3 seconds), and the second click actually deletes. Misclicks no longer cost you a waypoint.
The edit-mode Delete button has worked this way since the manager shipped; the per-row variant now matches it.
Two-step Reset to Defaults in the config screen
Same pattern, applied to the Reset button in the config footer. First click arms it (label becomes Click again to reset), second click within 3 seconds nukes pending edits. The window auto-disarms if you don't confirm.
Save button shows when there are unsaved edits
Open the config screen, change anything, and the Save & Apply button switches to **Save & Apply *** in gold. As soon as you Save (or back out everything you changed), the asterisk disappears. No more "did I save that?" guesswork.
Inline validation while you type
- Waypoint manager edit mode — the name field now highlights validation errors inline next to the
Namelabel as you type. Try a name with/in it and you'll see the validator complain immediately, instead of Save silently doing nothing later. - Configuration screen — int fields (waypoint cap, /back history size, debounce, OP-menu max level, etc.) now show a red
out of range/not a number/requiredlabel next to the input the moment your typed value can't be applied. The[min-max]hint comes back automatically when the value becomes valid again.
Active config tab actually looks selected
The config screen's sidebar used to indicate the active tab by greying it out — which read more like "this tab is disabled". Now the active tab keeps its hover/focus visuals, and is signaled three ways: a leading ▶ glyph, a bold yellow label, and a solid 4-px gold side-band against the dark sidebar.
Enchanting tab grouped into subsections
The previously-flat list of nine checkboxes now reads top-to-bottom as three small clusters with grey sub-headers:
- Apply behavior —
Creative only,Allow Survival,Allow unsafe enchants,Ignore max levels,Require op (apply). - Books / cursor —
Consume books,Hand interaction,Hotkey apply. - Menus —
/ec-menu op-only,Apply sound,/ec-menu-op max level.
"Apply sound" cycle button reads in English
The cycle button used to display raw enchantment_table / anvil values. Now it cycles between Enchantment table and Anvil. The on-disk config value is unchanged — you can keep editing creativetoolkitplus.json by hand and nothing breaks.
/waypoint setpos <name> — chat parity for the UI's "Move here" button
The Waypoint Manager edit screen has had a Move waypoint to my current position button since b2.3.0. There was no chat-command equivalent. Now there is:
/waypoint setpos <name>
(also available as /wp setpos <name>). Replaces the named waypoint's coordinates / yaw / pitch / dimension with where you're standing right now, preserving the original name, color, and creation timestamp. Any open waypoint manager refreshes its position read-out automatically.
Smaller fixes
- Enchant menu header band — the filter line (
X of Y match "…") and the scroll-position hint no longer overlap. The scroll hint now readspage A of Binstead of the cryptic1/3. - Waypoint manager search — typing in the search box no longer destroys and re-creates the search field itself every keystroke. Cursor position and focus survive every keypress without the previous "save / restore cursor" gymnastics.
- Config screen Player tab — removed the duplicate
Enable utility commandscheckbox (it appeared on both Time and Player tabs and edited the same field). Replaced with a one-line note pointing to the Time tab where the master switch lives. - Edit-mode Position section — the sunken backdrop is now drawn before the labels, instead of being drawn over them and forcing a redraw. Half the work, identical visual result.
- Waypoint screen footer help — replaced the
/tp-to <name> · /backchat-command list with in-UI hints (scroll wheel pages the list · Edit / Delete confirm to avoid mistakes). Chat-command discoverability lives in/ctp helpnow, not the screen footer.
Highlights from before
If you're new, here's what was already in the mod:
- Right-click / shift-click apply — drop an enchanted book on an item to apply its enchantments.
- Enchant menu with live search, Clear all button, six rows, full-width labels (b2.6.0).
/ec sharpness 5—/ecworks as a/enchantshortcut, with self-targeting when no target is given./ec clear,/ec clear <targets>— strip every enchantment off the held item./creativetoolkitplus(alias/ctp) — mod-wide command tree withhelp,info,version,mode,config,reload,features,feature,report.- Waypoint manager —
/waypointwith a vanilla-styled UI, search, edit, color picker, two-step Delete confirm (b2.6.1), and one-click "move waypoint here". /back [n]— teleport back to where you were, with full history and death-location tracking./heal,/feed,/enderchest,/day,/night,/noon,/midnight— small creative-mode QoL commands.- Tabbed in-game config screen with Mod Menu integration. Open with
/ctp configor by binding a key in Options → Controls → Creative Toolkit+. - Client/server/both execution mode toggle.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
