Changes
[2.2.0]
Added
- Added an Absolute Center Crosshair option at the top of the configuration menu, enabled by default.
- Added subpixel-accurate physical-screen centering for the vanilla crosshair, attack indicator, and every addon overlay.
- Added runtime crash isolation for the absolute-centering render path.
- Added complete installation, usage, and source-build documentation.
- Added one-jar support for Minecraft 26.1, 26.1.1, and 26.1.2 after verifying identical compiled output across the range.
Changed
- Updated project metadata for the maintained Crosshair Addons But Centered fork.
- Renamed the distributable jar to
CrosshairAddonsButCentered-<version>.jar. - Updated the mod icon.
- Limited build output to the normal distributable jar.
- Added ignore rules for Gradle, runtime, IDE, and local configuration files.
Fixed
- Fixed hitmarker and shield overlays appearing left of the vanilla crosshair by rendering textured vanilla HUD sprites and pixel-grid overlays in the same float-coordinate space.
- Added a direct vanilla HUD crosshair hook so the base sprite cannot bypass absolute centering.
- Fixed Environment Blend so it applies consistently to the vanilla crosshair and attack indicator as well as addon overlays.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
