Crow Buddy v1.0.0 — Changelog Features
- Crow Entity — New tameable crow with full AI, flight, and animation (GeckoLib)
- Taming & Diet — Tame with Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (bonus sunflower drop); heal with various seeds; cocoa beans/chocolate poison crows
- Swarm Intelligence — Attacking a crow alerts nearby crows; tamed crows defend their owner like wolves
- Scavenging — Crows pick up dropped items with preference for "shiny" objects (gold, diamonds, netherite, beacon items, piglin currency, trim materials)
- Companionship — Right-click to toggle sit/stand; sitting crows become neutral and disengage from combat
- Canopy Nesting — After breeding, a parent builds a nest above exposed leaves; nest incubates, hatches, and produces a baby crow; nests can be trampled like turtle eggs
- Baby Crows — Unique baby model with flight and nest-return AI
- Natural Spawning — Crows spawn in overworld land biomes (excludes oceans, rivers, badlands)
- Black Feather Crafting — Recipes for arrows, brushes, and writable books using black feathers
- Sound System — Crow caws, flight sounds, hatch sounds, and more (CC BY 4.0 / CC0 sourced from Freesound.org)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
