New: R.E.D. (Redstone Emitting Diode). Power it from any side and it fires a faint laser up to 15 blocks out of its face. The beam passes through glass, water, slabs and other see-through blocks, glows the colour of any stained glass it crosses, and stops at solid blocks and creatures. Full amethyst clusters bend the beam the way they point, and beams that meet in the same cluster merge, adding their focus together. A beam that hits another R.E.D.’s face makes it output a redstone signal from its back, stronger the closer the source is, so you can build laser tripwires and distance sensors. Merge enough beams and things get dangerous: at focus 3 the laser starts hurting whatever it hits, and from focus 4 it slowly burns through blocks, from moss and dirt all the way up to obsidian if you can gather enough R.E.D.s. Crafted like an observer, with an amethyst cluster in place of one redstone.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
