Custom Dimensions 1.3.1
- Fixed the mod blocking vanilla Nether portals. Normal use of flint and steel or a fire charge on an obsidian frame now always ignites a vanilla Nether portal, including inside custom dimensions. Sneak while using the igniter to activate the frame as a Custom Dimensions portal instead.
- Fixed the mod intercepting End portal frames. Eye of Ender behavior on End portal frames is now always left to vanilla.
- Added a hint message explaining the sneak-to-claim behavior when both a vanilla and a custom portal are possible on the same frame.
- Documented template choice for modded content: void worlds have no mob spawns or structure generation by design, use the overworld template for survival or mods such as Cobblemon. Mods that hardcode the minecraft:overworld dimension ID only run in the vanilla Overworld.
- Documented sleeping: sleep is tracked per dimension, so every player inside the same dimension must sleep. Beds follow the standard rules of the dimension type, and the playersSleepingPercentage gamerule can lower the required share of sleepers.
Use the JAR matching your exact Minecraft version. After creating a dimension, restart the server before using it as a portal target. After using a portal, step out of the destination frame and re-enter after the configured cooldown to travel back.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
