🗡️ Daggers Plugin

This plugin adds a full set of 6 daggers, ranging from Wooden to Netherite, offering a completely different combat playstyle compared to swords.

⚔️ Combat Mechanics

Daggers are designed for speed and precision, not raw power.

✅ Shorter range (2 blocks compared to the default 3)

✅ Lower base damage

✅ Faster attack speed (3.5 vs 1.6 on swords)

✅ Reduced knockback

✅ Same durability as their sword counterparts

Perfect for aggressive, close-combat players who prefer fast combos over heavy hits.

✨ Special Abilities

Each dagger comes with two unique abilities:

1️⃣ Triple Slash (Right Click)

Performs 3 consecutive fast hits in rapid succession.

• Cooldown: 8 seconds
  
• Total damage: 150% of a normal hit
  
• Cooldown is displayed on screen
  

2️⃣ Precision Stab (Shift + Right Click)

Charges a powerful stab that deals a strong precise hit

• Requires the target to stay in range for 0.75 seconds
  
• Total damage: 200% of a normal hit
  
• Cooldown: 15 seconds
  
• Cooldown is displayed on screen
  

🛠️ Crafting

Daggers use a similar recipe to swords, but simpler:

Only 1 material

1 stick

Crafted vertically like a sword, but with one less material at the top

⚠️ Important

The Netherite Dagger does NOT use a Smithing Table. It is crafted using the same recipe pattern as the other daggers.

The resource pack is included in the downloads. All that is required is to enable it in the resource pack menu.

⚙️ Configuration

The combat mechanics properties, as well as the damage table for all Dagger types can be modified in the plugin's configuration file, which can be found in the <server>/plugins/Daggers folder.
