Changes
- Added Nightmares — the 1st and 2nd Nightmares are a wave-survival gauntlet ending in a boss fight
- Your inventory and Curios loadout are safely stashed and restored when you enter/exit a Nightmare.
- Some Nightmare creatures now guarantee a Memory and/or Echo drop.
- New enemy: Awakened Human, a player-like Nightmare NPC with its own Aspect, name, gear, and skin. (does not naturally spawn currently)
- Nightmare Gates — an unresolved Dream Realm Seed can now tear open a Gate in the Overworld that spews waves of monsters until dealt with. Don't touch it.
- Nightmares (and the Dream Realm biomes around them) now pull from a much wider pool of enemies.
- Added a loading screen for Nightmare and Dream Realm transitions.
- Aspect Rank Evolution — your Aspect Rank can now change over time based on your feats. (Sort of WIP)
- Dual-Element support — Aspects can now gain a secondary Element and its abilities. (RARELY)
- New starting rank: Aspirant, for players who haven't yet beaten their First Nightmare.
- Aspects now roll a unique cosmetic name (e.g. "Umbrawalker") on Awakening.
- True Names now show everywhere your name does — chat, tab list, and nametag.
- Changed Aspect Creation entirely now you pick a Source Element and a randomly generated aspect is made on top of that from choices of multiple different aspect abilities, innate abilities, and flaws
- New Region: Storm Sea
- New Region: Chained Isles
- Dream Realm regions now have their own independent day/night cycles and weather.
- Added Mirror of Truth
- Added a model and texture for Sin of Solace.
- Added the official shadow slave OSTs by Griffin Tyler (who gave us permission the goat) and new sound effects for menus and abilities.
- Fixed the mod being unable to start on a dedicated server at all.
- Fixed Rune Study being unable to study randomly generated Memories.
- ADDED FULL API ADDON SUPPORT
- and some secrets... maybe
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
