Changes
v1.0.4:
- Minecraft 26.3 support.
- The settings screen is back on 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2, and new on 26.3. It opens from Mod Menu, as on the older versions. The 26.x builds of 1.0.3 had no settings screen at all.
- Fixed the two PVP settings never being saved. pvpTimeoutSeconds and pvpTeamProtection were missing from the file the mod writes, so both went back to their defaults on every launch, whatever you picked on the settings screen. pvpTimeoutSeconds is now also kept between 1 and 300.
- Fixed the settings screen's title and section headers being invisible on 1.21.6 to 1.21.11. They were drawn in white with no alpha, and since 1.21.6 the game skips text whose alpha is zero.
- Fixed structure and combat music being lost after dying or changing dimension. The server believed it had already sent the state and stayed silent: respawning in a village gave 20 seconds or more without the village music. It now sends the state again when your dimension or your player entity changes, and every 10 seconds.
- Fixed a missing track being retried on every tick: about 40 warnings per second, and during combat the background music was cut and restarted on every tick. Background music now waits for its normal interval, combat music pauses for 10 seconds while the background keeps playing, and the warning is written once per context and track. A rain track no longer fades out and back in for nothing.
- Music contexts are loaded once at startup instead of twice.
- Hitting a passive mob no longer starts combat music. Only hostile and neutral mobs count: hitting a cow or a villager does not start a fight.
- PVP music now needs a hit that actually deals damage. Hits stopped by pvp=false, creative mode or invulnerability no longer count, and arrows now do.
- Combat music now needs the monster to see you. A mob stuck in a wall or under the floor no longer starts it; the monster must target you and have line of sight, with 5 seconds of memory after it last saw you.
- Fixed combatDetectionRadius doing nothing: the server's combat scan always used 24 blocks. It now follows the setting (8 to 64).
- A boss bar from another mod is no longer taken for a raid. A bar is a raid only when its text or translation key contains "raid".
- The seasons mod (Serene Seasons or Fabric Seasons) is looked up once instead of every 2 seconds. The current season is still read every 2 seconds.
- Removed bossDetectionRadius from the config: nothing ever read it. Bosses are detected by their contexts and the range they declare.
- Drop-in replacement. An existing dcme.json still loads (an old bossDetectionRadius key is ignored), and music packs, worlds and saves need no change.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
