Changes
v1.2.0 - Survival Kitchen Update
Survival-friendly crafting
- Added simple vanilla crafting recipes for the core kitchen line:
Counter CabinetFridgeSinkRangeMixerCooking PotSauce PanMicrowaveDishwasher
- Recipes stay low-level and achievable with common materials like iron, wood, stone, glass, buckets, chests, furnaces, and cauldrons.
Fridge freshness bonuses
- Crafted kitchen foods from this mod can now be chilled in the fridge.
- Fresh foods restore a little more hunger and saturation than their normal versions.
- Fresh cocktails grant a light
Speedbonus. - Fresh pan meals grant a light
Hastebonus. - Fresh pot meals grant a light
Absorptionbonus. - Drink and meal bonuses stack naturally, so a chilled cocktail plus a chilled hot meal feels better without becoming overpowered.
Compatibility-first design
- The fridge freshness system only upgrades this mod's crafted kitchen foods.
- Other mod foods and vanilla foods can still be stored normally and are not rewritten or globally intercepted.
- No extra config or setup is required for the new survival loop.
Manual and guidance
- Expanded the
Kitchen Manualwith crafting-card pages for the main appliances and kitchen blocks. - Added a dedicated freshness page that explains the fridge bonus loop and stacked food buffs.
- Used compact text crafting grids in the manual so the recipes remain readable in a vanilla written book.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
