DirectAuth 1.3.0 (Forge 1.20.1)

First release for Forge 1.20.1. It has the same features and behavior as DirectAuth 1.3.0 for NeoForge 1.21.1.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.0 or newer, Java 17.
  • Server-side only: players do not need to install anything.

What you get

  • /register and /login for offline-mode servers, with PBKDF2 password hashing and an embedded SQLite database (no external database server).
  • Optional Online Mode auto-login with /online, migrating the player's data (inventory, stats, advancements, FTB Quests…) to their real UUID.
  • Unauthenticated players are frozen in place: no moving, chatting, interacting, dropping or picking up items, taking damage or healing.
  • Login lockout per account and IP, registration delay, max accounts per IP and a login timeout against bots.
  • Admin commands: /directauth online, resetpass, unregister, reload and resetlang, also over RCON.
  • ItemPhysic compatibility: its drop and pickup packets are blocked for unauthenticated players.

Configuration, language files and the database are created in world/serverconfig/ on first start. See the project description for commands and settings.
