DMZ Ragnarok 1.6.0
Built for DragonMineZ 2.2 (required: DragonMineZ 2.2 or newer). A big update: real 3D space, vehicles you can build and upgrade, the Konatsian race and Swordsman class, a new HUD style inside DragonMineZ's HUD editor, and a long list of fixes.
Space
- Real 3D space. Space is now the full Minecraft height. Star systems sit at different heights and every planet has its own tilted orbit, so planets can be far above or below you.
- Distant planets look like planets. Far planets draw with the same models and textures as near ones, whole distant systems are visible on their real orbits, and the star map shows you as an arrow.
- Smooth pod flight. The space pod no longer freezes, vanishes or blinks at speed, and your 3D aura now wraps the pod and trails behind it.
- Planet pairs. Namek OW, SMP and Kai OW share an orbit with their partner planet, opposite it; the Demon Realm shares Beerus' ring; the Super dragon ball bodies orbit the sun.
- Performance. Space simulates fewer chunks around players, empty space chunks skip their tick, and several planet dimensions no longer keep thousands of chunks loaded.
Vehicles
- Vehicle workbench. The big space console builds hoverbikes (Mk I to IV) and DragonMineZ's car, Capsule Corp. 576 and Frieza's capsule from DragonMineZ's vehicle parts. The consoles are now craftable.
- Vehicle tiers. The compact console is the upgrade bench: 2 tier 1 make a tier 2, 2 tier 2 make a tier 3, 3 tier 3 make a tier 4, or use craftable upgrade kits. Higher tiers are faster, accelerate harder, climb better and (hoverbikes) last longer. Shown in JEI.
Races and masters
- Konatsian race and Swordsman class. Swordsman deals +15% damage and attacks 20% faster with any sword.
- Mini Clone is sold by Tien, Cell and Majin Buu, and clones now look like your DragonMineZ character. Cell only teaches evil-aligned fighters.
HUD, menus and cosmetics
- Ragnarok HUD style. Pick "Ragnarok" in DragonMineZ's HUD editor: every DMZ Ragnarok HUD element can be moved, scaled and hidden there, with DragonMineZ-style bar animations.
- Options in game. The SDU options menu edits the mod's settings in tabs, no file editing needed.
- Cosmetic animations show their real art again and no longer hide your character; cosmetics are hidden from JEI.
- DragonMineZ's third-person crosshair is replaced by ours, and the "Coming Soon" saga rows are hidden.
Dragon balls, Vegeta and the world
- Dragon balls stay where they belong: only your inventory, a dragon ball bag or the ground. Containers, entities, AE2 storage and spatial cells refuse them, sets stay in their own dimension, and dormant balls look like stone with a wake-up timer on the radar.
- Planet Vegeta: saiyans have their real skins, no Red Ribbon in the capital, hostile saiyans guard the wilderness outposts, every dinosaur roams, saibamen are rarer, pigs, flowers and crops grow, and saibaman huts grow seeds.
Fixes
- Singleplayer world creation no longer crashes on Forge 47.4.x.
- Raids no longer end when one fighter dies; ServerClaim craters regenerate fully; leaving Kaioken as an Android keeps your power release.
Back up your world before the first start: the space dimension is taller now.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
