DMZ Ragnarok 1.1.528
No more items lost or duplicated around deaths and world changes, kicks and bans remove players from the whole network, cross world raid joins that stop refusing, sparring that actually lets partners fight, and the dungeon floors that were taken out of rotation no longer block progress.
Deaths, items and world changes
- Dying no longer hands back the items from an earlier death. A player who changed worlds while dead could arrive alive still carrying their last death's saved items; their next death then made no grave, dropped what they carried, and gave the old items back. Every death now makes its own grave.
- Changing worlds can no longer kill you. The world you were leaving could kill you in the moment before the move finished, which also left a grave copy of items that had already moved with you.
- Turning PvP on no longer kills you instantly.
Fixes
- Dragon ball totems can be opened at spawn. The server's spawn protection swallowed the click before the totem was ever asked, so nobody but operators could take the balls. Totems holding dragon balls now open anywhere; they still cannot be broken, and no other container at spawn becomes usable.
- Throwing a senzu no longer eats it. Sneaking and right clicking in the same moment could reach the server before it knew you were sneaking, so the bean went down your own throat instead of flying to your target.
- Korin hands out our senzu beans once a week. His senzu option gives the server's own beans on a real weekly cooldown per player, shared across every world, instead of DragonMine Z beans.
- Cracked beans restore 35% instead of 75%.
- Half saiyans can earn Super Saiyan God. The god knowledge wish and the charging ritual only recognised full saiyans. Super Saiyan 5 is still saiyan only.
- A form can no longer be saved as both a stack form and a race form in the form editor, which is how Ultra Ego ended up listed twice.
- Joining a raid or tournament on another world works for the whole signup window. After about two minutes the join was refused with a bare "closed" for anyone not on the hosting world.
- Sparring partners can fight anywhere, including spawn and claims with PvP off. Nobody else can hit them, and a spar still cannot kill.
- Dungeon floors taken out of rotation no longer block the floors after them. Floors 3 and 4 were bypassed but floor 4's guardian still had to be beaten before floor 5 would open.
- Training machines at spawn can no longer be dismantled by crouch punching them. Punching them to train still works.
- Prestige 1 and 2 kits work for players who reached those levels before the kits were set up.
For staff
- Command logging records player commands. Only console commands were being captured before, so /commandlookup came back empty for staff.
- /broadcast and /broadcast title reach every world on the network, once each.
- /warn reaches a player on another world with the on screen warning, not just a note that they did not see it.
- /history and /commandlookup also find entries recorded under a player's previous name.
- /dmzinfo <player> opens DragonMine Z's own character menu showing that player's stats, forms, skills and quests, read only.
- Head Helper is a staff role, and team leads (owner, server manager, head admin, head mod, head helper) see every staff task that belongs to the roles below them.
- Live map positions. The open worlds publish player positions for the website map (overworld, NamekOW and KaiOW). Spectators, vanished players and anyone granted su.map.hidden are never shown.
- Kicks, bans and AFK kicks remove the player from the whole network with the reason shown, instead of sending them to another world. Server restarts and crashes still move players to another world.
- /rg dungeon floor rotation <floor> <true|false> takes a floor out of rotation without deleting it.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20 or newer
- DragonMine Z 2.1.3, GeckoLib and Curios (required)
- Needed on both the client and the server
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
