Changes
DMZ Ragnarok 1.1.395
A big stability release: no more rollbacks, stuck logins or timeout loops, plus a long list of gameplay fixes.
Server stability
- No more rollbacks when moving between servers. One slow database task could make a healthy server look dead, so another server took your character from an older save and you lost progress or got old stats and race back. That can no longer happen.
- No more "Player data timed out" or being stuck unable to join. Database calls can no longer hang for minutes, and a runaway furnace list that made a few players' saves enormous is cleaned up automatically.
- No more timeout loops on join. NPC models are now sent at your connection's pace, so slow connections no longer get kicked every 30 seconds.
- Logging in always puts you at spawn, including after logging out inside a dungeon. Moving between servers still keeps your position.
- No more dying or falling right after switching servers.
- Less lag: fixed a stall when flying through space, guild saves no longer freeze the server, and the tab list and cross-server sync do far less work.
Quests and progression
- Kill objectives that could never complete now work. A lost or early-killed quest mob is replaced, and quest mobs no longer spawn before their step is unlocked.
- The quest screen shows only your current objective for step-by-step quests. Parallel quests still show all of them.
- Repeatable story quest cooldowns count down while you are offline, and party members are no longer stuck waiting on the leader.
- The earn zeni task counts zeni you actually earn.
- Stat discounts: the price you see is the price you pay, and discounts survive death.
- Training minigames give 1.5x TP.
Combat
- Ki attacks no longer hurt you through walls.
- One ki blast that kills several enemies now gives TP divided by the number killed, times 1.5.
- NPCs stuck inside blocks lift themselves out.
- Tournament move lists only offer moves your race and titles allow (no Hakai or shadow dragon moves for everyone).
Dungeons
- Dungeon portals no longer drop you into an empty Namek; a missing floor rebuilds itself.
- A boss bar shows the time you have left, the cooldown shows the real time remaining, and you get a message when it is over.
- Timing out and spawn portals put you exactly at spawn.
- Dungeon chests always give the item you roll, and the prize stays on screen for a few seconds.
- Boss portals can be locked until the floor's boss is defeated.
Everything else
- Grave totems can be opened in guild claims by their owner, and totems holding dragon balls by anyone.
- Vehicles are recalled when you walk too far from them.
- Rolled armor can be sold back to Zeni shop NPCs.
- Gi armor now renders through DragonMine Z's own armor system on every form.
- Biden Blast can no longer be handed out by the server automatically.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20 or newer
- DragonMine Z 2.1.3, GeckoLib and Curios (required)
- Needed on both the client and the server
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
