Changes
Chat from other worlds is translated, chat keeps up with the people typing it, and dragon ball totems work alongside Lootr again.
Chat and translation
- Chat sent from another world is now translated. Only the chat of players on your own world was ever put through the translator: anything crossing from another one arrived already finished and was shown exactly as it was typed. Messages now carry their untranslated body across, so a line from any world reaches you in your language.
- Chat no longer runs behind. The work was done once per recipient, so a single message in a busy room meant dozens of separate translation requests racing each other, and the delay grew as more people were online. It is now done once per language, however many people are reading.
- You are never translated to yourself. You read what you actually typed, rather than your own words sent out and brought back slightly changed.
- Portuguese (Portugal) clients see Portuguese. The game keeps the two Portuguese locales apart and does not fall back from one to the other, so a pt_PT client was reading English.
Fixes
- Dragon ball totems inside spawn protection can be opened again on servers running Lootr. This was the known limitation left open in 1.1.534: the two mods contend for the same spawn protection check, and the totem now opens through a route that does not depend on winning it.
Staff
- A race can be marked staff only in the prestige admin screen's Race tab. It is a separate thing from a prestige requirement: a prestige gate is something a player can work towards and the carousel shows how far off they are, while a staff race is never reachable by playing. It is refused server side whether or not the prestige feature is switched on.
Also in this release, from 1.1.534
- The server no longer fails to start when Lootr is installed.
- Characters no longer roll back to older stats, and your character is saved every few minutes rather than only at world changes and clean logouts.
- Fusing and then changing worlds no longer duplicates your items.
- Portals that send you to spawn reach the spawn that was set.
- Ki shields no longer shove masters, quest givers, raid and tournament hosts, prestige NPCs, the shrine dragon, planet defenders or the Saiyan town villagers.
- The defiled radar matches what is actually out there.
- Logins and world changes survive a slow moment instead of being cut at 30 seconds.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20 or newer
- DragonMine Z 2.1.3, GeckoLib and Curios (required)
- Needed on both the client and the server
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
