DMZ Ragnarok 1.6.1
Built for DragonMineZ 2.2. A space update: the space travel crash is fixed, pod flight is much smoother, solar systems now fill space above and below you, and distant suns and planets keep their true proportions.
Space
- Crash fix. The space dimension is back to a normal build height. Its very tall column made the game set up about ten times the usual render buffers, which could crash the game while travelling. Planets and suns keep their positions far above and below you; only the buildable range changed.
- Smoother pod flight. Space uses its own short view distance (
spaceViewDistance, default 5 chunks) so fast pods stream far fewer chunks, and DragonMineZ's player renderer no longer rebuilds character data every frame. - Real 3D space. Solar systems are spread from about 12,000 blocks below you to 12,000 above. Inside a system, planets orbit flat in their sun's plane.
- Better distant views. Distant suns are drawn as real sun cubes instead of flat circles, distant planets keep their true size next to their sun, and far systems no longer smear into one band of planets.
- Orbits. Kai OW now orbits opposite the Sacred World of the Kais, and the Demon Realm opposite Beerus' planet.
- Nothing in space is lost to the void while you fly far below; descending far enough still takes you out of space.
World
- Masters in older worlds. Majin Buu now appears in a Buu's house generated before he was added, and Tien at the tournament grounds, without regenerating anything.
- New hoverbike icons for Mk I to IV.
Server owners: the space change applies on the first start after updating. Asteroids that sat above the new build height in existing worlds are gone; new ones form inside the build range.
Files
dmz_ragnarok-1.6.1.jaris the core. Add the Space, Dungeons, Raids and Tournaments modules (their own pages, also 1.6.1) for those features.dmz_ragnarok-1.6.1-all-in-one.jarhas the core and all four modules in one jar.
Use one or the other, never both, and never the all-in-one beside a module.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
