Changelog 1.0 First release. Everything below is new.
Three overlays for running viewer games on DonutSMP, all client side.
Auction HUD Countdown widget for running bid wars in chat. Progress bar, big timer, and the current top bid along the bottom. It reads DonutSMP /pay messages and tracks whoever sent the most.
The bid detection is deliberately loose about wording. It handles "paid", "payed", "sent", "gave", optional currency symbols, comma separators, and K/M/B/T suffixes, with or without a space between the $ and the number. Rank prefixes and colour codes in front of the name don't break it.
To stop people faking bids by typing the message themselves, a payment only counts if the money is rendered green, which is how DonutSMP colours it. Someone typing or whispering the same text sends it white, so it gets ignored. /auctiondebug reports what was seen and why each line was accepted or rejected.
Commands: /auction, /auctionstart, /auctionend, /auctiontimeset, /auctionreset, /auctiontoggle, /auctiontest, /auctiondebug.
Dropper Game Host vs viewer dropper duel. Both sides drop a numbered item, higher number wins, and a result panel shows who took it with the two scores underneath.
Two ways to detect the numbers:
Named mode (default) reads items landing in your inventory and pulls the first number out of the item name. Set the name prefixes to match how your items are labelled. Position mode watches for item entities near two dropper blocks you point at and bind. Better if your items are named with bare numbers and nothing else. Commands: /dropper start, /dropper reset, /dropper host <n>, /dropper viewer <n>.
Flood/Drain Tracker Scores a flooding team against a draining team by snapshotting the blocks around you and watching what changes.
Flooding scores when a brand new water source appears. Draining scores when an existing source disappears. Both counters only go up, so the teams can't erase each other's points by undoing the work. Water already present when you press start is recorded and ignored.
Overworld only, and it only scans above a Y floor you set (100 by default). If the whole scan area sits under that floor it refuses to start and says so rather than sitting at zero.
You can track one side on its own. Flooding only and draining only each get their own start button, and the panel shrinks to a single row.
Commands: /flooddrain start, /flooddrain stop, /flooddrain reset, /flooddrain mode both|flood|drain.
Overlay editor Drag editor for all three panels. Right Shift opens it, or turn on Launch Drag Editor in the config. Drag boxes around, arrow keys nudge a pixel, Shift with arrows moves ten, Tab cycles the selection, R puts one back where it started, Escape saves. Boxes snap to screen edges and centre lines.
Notes Client side only. Nothing is needed on the server. Requires Fabric API, Cloth Config and Mod Menu.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
