Downed Gun Lock v1.1.1

This update adds automatic respawning for normal player deaths and allows the respawn delay to be configured separately for normal deaths and team wipes.

Changes

• Added automatic respawning after normal player deaths
• Added a 3 → 2 → 1 countdown displayed in the center of the screen before respawning
• Preserved the vanilla death message and score display for normal deaths
• Changed the team-wipe death screen message to Your team has been wiped out
• Team names in team-wipe chat notifications now use their scoreboard team color
• Added separate respawn-delay settings for team wipes and normal deaths
• Improved countdown synchronization after disconnecting and reconnecting
• Updated the network protocol

Configuration

The settings can be changed in:

serverconfig/downedgunlock-server.toml

[teamWipe]
    wipeConfirmationSeconds = 1
    autoRespawnDelaySeconds = 3
    broadcastTeamWipe = true

[normalDeath]
    autoRespawnDelaySeconds = 3

• teamWipe.autoRespawnDelaySeconds: Respawn delay after a team wipe
• normalDeath.autoRespawnDelaySeconds: Respawn delay after a normal death

The default delay is 3 seconds for both.

Important

The network protocol has been updated.

Both the client and server must be updated to v1.1.1. Connections between v1.1.0 and v1.1.1 are not supported.
