IMPORTANT: Before updating the mod, delete the dnmmod-spell-components.toml file from the config folder. Otherwise, you may encounter errors when launching the game or the configuration may not be installed correctly. This is due to changes in the configuration file structure (see details below).
- Changed the structure of the spell component system configuration. You can now simply specify spells in the
mod_id:spell_nameformat instead of specifying the full path to the spell class. - Added new spells: Meteor Swarm (Fire) and Mana Shield (Evocation).
- Added a new conditional type of spells — Master Spells. These spells cannot be obtained from chests or crafted through the usual methods. To craft them, you need to use a new crafting station — the Scroll Table.
- Added a new spell book that has a small chance to drop from the Corrupted Wizard.
- Added Fire Salt, which drops from Fire Atronachs.
- Added a visual screen effect for certain spells.
- Added the Protective Bracelet. When right-clicked, it binds itself to its holder and subsequently negates damage dealt by that player.
- Rebalanced spells: reduced the cooldown of Night Vision, and its duration now depends on the spell level.
- Reduced the chance of the Death Image spawning to 1%.
- Changed the textures of some items.
- Unique armor now has an item rarity.
- Reduced the number of chests in the Corrupted Temple.
- The Phantom effect no longer deals damage when the player passes through blocks.
- Reduced the duration of the Phantom Potion effect.
- Veil of Death now consumes 2 durability when applying its effect, and the effect is now applied when the player's health falls below one quarter of its maximum.
- Added a lifesteal effect to the Ritual Dagger when hitting an entity.
- The Leshen Altar now accepts any edible item.
- Removed the Shrink spell.
- Removed all weapons except unique ones.
- Removed the dependency on Pehkui and Pufferfish's Attributes.
- Some of the mod's functionality now depends on Chixozhmix's Lib. This will help avoid accumulating too many dependencies on other mods and libraries in the future.
- Minor fixes and improvements.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
