Update 2 — v2.0.0
This update adds more ways to change size and gives size a bigger role in the world.
- Added the Scale Dial: change your own size or a selected mob's size without drinking potions. The controls show the target and its current size; selected living targets glow.
- Added the Scale Anchor: keep nearby mobs at a chosen size, with an adjustable 1–32 block radius, enabled toggle, and visible area preview. Placed anchors can be recovered in survival.
- Added compact, non-pausing slider menus in the native mods. Datapacks use vanilla dialogs on newer Minecraft versions and clickable chat controls on 1.20.5/1.21.1.
- Mobs can spawn at different sizes. Small changes are common; further stages become progressively rarer. Rare hostile giants have extra boss bonuses.
- Mob health, attack damage, movement, detection range, and other stats now change with size. Native mods also adjust ranged attack distances and mob projectile stats.
- Larger mobs drop more of their usual loot, with additional rewards for giant bosses. Equipment and XP keep their existing rules.
- Larger creepers create larger explosions, including the normal charged-creeper multiplier.
- All native editions include the dedicated creative tab, all eight craftable items, item models, and effect-specific descriptions. Recipes are standard recipes for supported recipe viewers.
- Fixed drinking potions not applying their effects, empty-looking native potion bottles, missing anchor inventory models, inaccessible anchor controls, and several datapack/version compatibility problems.
The original growth, shrink, and normalization potions remain, with all 17 size stages from 1/16× to 16×. Native controls use the enchanted recovery-compass appearance; datapack tools and anchor visuals work without a resource pack.
Use the file for your exact Minecraft version and loader. Choose either the native mod or the datapack for a world. Some other Minecraft versions still have legacy 1.x releases; their files do not gain Update 2 features automatically. Snapshot builds are experimental. Forge has no Minecraft 1.20.5 release; no Forge/NeoForge snapshot build is included.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
