DynamicSkins 1.2.4 — Forge
Performance
- Cached player skin textures for the entire client session.
- Prevented unchanged skin files from being resent when players leave and re-enter render distance.
- Reduced FPS drops and network spikes on servers with many players.
- Prevented duplicate avatar chunks from accumulating in memory.
Fixed
- Fixed skins temporarily falling back to the default skin when players returned into view.
- Fixed repeated PNG decoding and GPU texture uploads.
- Fixed deleted skins remaining cached on clients.
- Cached textures are now released when a player leaves the server.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
