Changes
DynamicSkins 1.3.3
Ported fixes
- Ported Forge's duplicate avatar-transfer suppression to Fabric while preserving the existing Fabric packet protocol.
- Added per-player delivered-version tracking on the Fabric server to avoid resending unchanged avatar data after tracking updates or reconnects.
- Avatar removal now clears server delivery state and notifies all connected Fabric clients.
- Upload cooldowns now apply when a new upload session starts, so chunks from an active valid upload are not rejected mid-transfer.
- Added shared hash-based texture reuse on the Fabric client to avoid decoding and registering identical Normal/Talking textures repeatedly.
- Preserved Fabric's bounded background PNG decode pipeline and stale-result protection while adding hash-based GPU texture reuse.
- Added local-player activation-state detection to the Fabric Plasmo Voice integration so the speaking skin updates for push-to-talk and voice activation.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1 and the existing Fabric packet payloads remain unchanged.
- Existing responsive Editor, 2D preview, watermark, library, fallback rendering, and large-PNG crash fix are retained.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
