Easy Color

Have you ever wanted colored or gradient nicknames on your server? Let your players stand out with beautiful two-color gradients, support HEX colors, and full PlaceholderAPI integration?

Luckily for you, there's my plugin that makes it possible!

I originally made this for my Paper server on version 1.21.1, but I think it should work on higher versions too.

So, the plugin includes:

GRADIENT NICKNAMES

  • Set two HEX colors for a smooth gradient
  • Example: /color #FF6B6B #4ECDC4
  • Applies to tab list and above head
  • Full MiniMessage support

HEX COLOR SUPPORT

  • Full 6-digit HEX color codes
  • Example: #FF0000, #00FF00, #0000FF
  • Any color combination possible
  • No limits on creativity

OFFLINE PLAYER SUPPORT

  • Set gradient for offline players
  • Applies automatically when they join
  • /colorother <player> <hex1> <hex2>
  • Perfect for admins and giveaways

PLACEHOLDERAPI INTEGRATION

  • %ColorSet_Nick% placeholder
  • Use in any plugin that supports PAPI
  • Chat, tab list, scoreboard, and more
  • Works with any display

AUTO-APPLY ON JOIN

  • Gradients restore automatically
  • No need to reapply on reconnect

Permission Description
easycolor.use Use gradient nicknames
easycolor.other Set gradient for other players
easycolor.admin Admin commands

COMMANDS

Command Description
/color <hex1> <hex2> Set your gradient
/colorother <player> <hex1> <hex2> Set gradient for another player
/easycolor reload Reload configuration
/easycolor check <player> Check player's gradient
/easycolor reset <player> Reset player's gradient

CONFIGURATION

Option Description
nick.max-length Maximum nickname length
nick.min-length Minimum nickname length
nick.default-color Default color for non-premium players
nick.no-permission-color Color for players without permission
nick.premium-default-color Default color for premium players
nick.prevent-duplicate-nicks Prevent duplicate nicknames
