Echo Relics Mod Gameplay Introduction & Overview Echo Relics is a Minecraft NeoForge mod centered around underground exploration, echo materials, talent awakening, weapon progression, elite events, and a 10-day Boss cycle. Upon entering the world, players will automatically awaken an Echo Talent, receiving an Echo Sigil along with a one-time starter survival kit. From there, players will progress from early-game survival to weapon lineages, soldier inscription challenges, and the Eclipsed Lightbringer Boss cycle by mining echo ores, crafting echo equipment, opening strongboxes, and exploring echo ruins. The goal of this mod is not to rush players to the endgame instantly, but rather to ensure that every mining trip, chest opened, elite defeated, and altar challenged brings them closer to more powerful echo weapons and more dangerous nocturnal pressures. The Echo Sword reveals targets, the Echo Bow provides ranged marking, and the Echo Halberd deals with interruptions and crowd control; meanwhile, amulets and echo lanterns offer windows for counter-play within dark domains. As days progress, elite echoes and ruins will spawn across the world. The Boss, "Eclipsed Lightbringer," appears cyclically every ten days, but can also be actively summoned using an Eclipsed Echo Core. The reward system features materials, strongboxes, enhanced weapons, named relics, and T4 relics—preserving the excitement of random drops while mitigating the frustration of empty-handed runs through pity and salvaging mechanisms. Core Experience • Automatic Awakening: Awaken your talent instantly upon entering the world, and use the Echo Sigil to check your Echo Identity. • Crafting & Progression: Mine echo ores to forge the Echo Sword, Bow, Halberd, Amulet, Echo Lantern, and Guardian Gear. • High-Tier Rewards: Obtain high-tier materials and generated weapons from strongboxes, ruins, elite mobs, and soldier inscription challenges. • The Cosmic Cycle: Face the Eclipsed Lightbringer every ten days, using lanterns, amulets, and echo weapons to counter its power within dark domains.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
