EfficientTimber

A lightweight plugin that adds intelligent tree felling, safeguards, customizable preferences.

Compatible with CoreProtect.

Key Features

  • Intelligent tree felling: Automatically detects and fells trees based on structure and block relationships. Nether trees are not included yet but are WIP.
  • Advanced Protection System: Native log-logger and canopy safeguards. Any log blocks placed by players after v1.1.0 are automatically cataloged using chunk data. Additionally, tree felling is now blocked if the logs are not connected to a leaf canopy, preventing the accidental destruction of player-built structures.
  • Auto-Replanter: Intelligent auto-replanter system, fully toggleable by players.
  • Settings GUI (/et_settings): User-friendly GUI to change preferences with a single click and preview the alternative leaf decay sounds.
  • Falling Leaf Litter Effects: Subtle visual particles simulate falling leaves, improving feedback and overall immersion. The color of the leaf litter is entirely dependent on biome type.
  • Felling Animation: Dynamic tree felling animation, similar to the leaf decay effect, which can be toggled by players.
  • Multi-origin spherical leaf decay animation: Leaf decay propagates from multiple seed points, creating dense, continuous spherical waves. This results in smooth, natural looking canopy collapse, that is particularly noticeable on complex trees such as Cherry.

GUI

All mod settings can be configured in config.yml. This includes sneak-enabled, axe-damage, allowed-tools and more.
