Changes
New feature: Dynamic Auto Craft
- With Dynamic Auto Crafting enabled (on by default), auto crafts now choose where to get items from on their own, so you never need to figure out which modifiers to hold. Alt is now the key for all of it.
- Now that previews show exactly where every resource comes from, all crafts are now predictable enough that one modifier can be used for everything
- They take the simplest way that covers the request: items already in nearby chests, then your inventory, then nearby containers, then a chain craft from your inventory, then a chain craft with nearby containers
- Shift max crafts stop at what the recipe's indicator shows. Ex: a yellow plus max crafts directly from nearby containers and won't start a chain
- Queued amounts can go further than one craft would. Ex: queuing more chests than your planks can make chain crafts planks from your logs for the rest
- Works with the latched auto craft and bulk modes too, including chain crafts without holding Alt
- Other modifiers are unaffected
New feature: Remember Containers
- What's in your chests is now saved for each world, so they're still known after you walk away, leave the world, or relaunch the game instead of being opened again
- Changes are saved the moment they're seen, so a crash loses nothing
- The cache is tiny and fast. Single-player worlds keep it in an effortless-crafting folder inside the save, so deleting or copying a world takes its cache with it
- Servers are kept apart by address and world, so networks with several worlds behind one address don't mix their chests
New feature: Only Prompt When Different
- On by default, the chain crafting and retrieve-then-ask prompts are skipped when they would only repeat what the queue preview or the orange chain dot already showed you
- They still ask when the mod finds something different, such as chests holding more or less than expected, another variant, or fewer copies
Indicators:
- While a recipe is queued, its dot describes the whole queued amount instead of one craft. Ex: queuing 11 chests with planks for 8 turns the dot orange, since the rest needs a chain craft
- Hovertips for what indicators mean
Other changes:
- New setting: Freeze Revolving Recipes While Queuing, on by default. Revolving recipes like moss and pale moss no longer switch variants while you're queuing a request, so the queue keeps the variant you started on. Vanilla only stopped them while Ctrl was held
- Alt now works the same as Ctrl while Retrieval Mode is on, since the mode only ever pulls from nearby containers. It no longer leaves the mode or shows the auto craft arrow
- Alt + click on the result slot toggles the mode, like Ctrl + click
Fixes:
- A queued craft planned before nearby chests were known no longer stops short once the mod finds the rest. Ex: a 3 chest queue with planks in an unseen chest used to craft only 1
- Chests are no longer forgotten when you walk far enough away for their chunks to unload
- Chest contents from one world can no longer show up in another world joined in the same session
- A chest with a cat or a block on top is no longer forgotten
- Saving the settings screen no longer clears what the mod knows about your chests

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
