Changes
New feature: Retrieval-Only Recipes
- Items that no recipe can craft (cobblestone, logs, string...) now get an entry in the normal crafting book that retrieves them from nearby containers, so you no longer need to switch to Retrieval Mode just to grab them
- They come after everything you can craft and before recipes you can't. The ones a nearby container holds come first
- Hidden while the craftable-only filter is on
- Not available on 1.20.1 and 1.21-1.21.1, which can't show the synthetic recipe icons
Retrieval Mode:
- The result slot now shows how many items will actually be retrieved. The total turns orange when nearby containers hold fewer than you queued
Fixes:
- Enchanted, damaged and renamed items are no longer used up as crafting ingredients. Ex: queuing a dispenser with only an enchanted bow in your inventory crafted the bow into the dispenser. This affected servers since 1.4.0 and singleplayer since 1.5.0
- Previews, indicators and remembered chests no longer count those items as ingredients either. Chests remembered by 1.6.0 learn about them the next time they're opened
- 1.21.8 and older: breaking either half of a filtered double chest now keeps the other half's black/whitelist state. Before, breaking one of the halves lost it
Performance:
- Opening a crafting table near a large storage room no longer stutters on the first open after joining a world
- Finding nearby containers no longer checks every block within reach
- In-world black/whitelists are loaded when you join a world instead of on the first open
- Sorting the recipe book on open is spread over the next few frames instead of all at once

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
