Changes
Eldenreach UI 0.2.0 — Changelog
Quests
- 158 built-in quests across three difficulty tiers: slay mobs (25 families, 10–200 kills), mine blocks (15 families, 16–256 blocks), and gather resources (15 families), plus 8 hand-written starter quests
- Automatic rewards on completion — vanilla items, diamonds, emeralds, trophies, and XP levels, scaled by tier
- Quest tracker on the HUD showing your active quests — toggle with Z
- Quest journal screen (J) with descriptions, progress bars, and reward previews
- Gather quests track total items picked up, so spending or dropping items never loses progress
- Progress is saved per player, per world — works in singleplayer and on servers with the mod installed
Skill Tree
- 26 skills / 80 rank-nodes across offense, defense, mobility, and utility branches — press K
- Vanilla-friendly perks: bonus health, attack damage, attack speed, armor, movement speed, mining efficiency, reach, luck, and more — no custom items or combat changes
- Permanent effect perks: Haste, Jump Boost, Night Vision, Slow Falling
- Skill points earned from completed quests and every 5 XP levels
- Click-drag to pan around the full tree
Also in this update
- Discovery toast — an ornate banner announces each new biome you enter
- RPG armor bar under the hunger bar (only shown while wearing armor)
- Minimap radar — hostile mobs, animals, and players appear as dots on the minimap
- Exhaustion now correctly blocks sprint even with toggle-sprint enabled
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
