Bug fixes

  • Snowy spider eyes didn't render properly.

Mobs

Zombies

  • Added the Decadent: the Decadent is a new mob that inflicts Wither when attacking. Decadents spawn naturally when a zombie stays withered for 5 seconds.
  • Added the Fungal: the Fungal is a new mob that inflicts Blindness when attacking. Fungals spawn when a Zombie stays on a fungal biome for a full Minecraft day. Fungals have four variants (brown, red, crimson and warped), each one with its respective textures and spawn conditions.

Skeletons

  • Added the Ashen: the Ashen is a new mob that shoots fire arrows. An Ashen will spawn naturally when a skeleton stays on fire for 15 seconds.
  • Added the Blight: the Blight is a new mob that shoots Blindness arrows. The Blight spawns when a Skeleton stays on a fungal biome for a full Minecraft day. Blights have four variants (brown, red, crimson and warped), each one with its respective textures and spawn conditions.

Spiders

  • Added Wither Spider: the Wither Spider is a new mob that inflicts Wither when attacking. Wither Spiders spawn naturally when a spider stays withered for 7.5 seconds.

Mob transformations

Swamps

  • Now, Zombies that stay on a Swamp biome for a full Minecraft day (20 minutes) will convert to the Rotten.
  • Now, Skeletons that stay on a Swamp biome for a full Minecraft day (20 minutes) will convert to the Putrid.

Deserts

  • Now, Zombies that stay on a Desert biome for a full Minecraft day (20 minutes) will convert to Husk.
  • Now, Skeletons that stay on a Desert biome for a full Minecraft day (20 minutes) will convert to the Dried.

Items

  • Added decaying flesh: This type of flesh inflicts Wither for 10 seconds when consumed. Is dropped by Decadents.
  • Added arrows of decay. This tipped arrow inflicts Wither when hitting an enemy.
  • Added arrows of blindness. This tipped arrow inflicts Wither when hitting an enemy.
  • Added Iðunn apples: This fruit prevents vanilla mobs from converting to Elementals. It also gives the player Regeneration for 10 seconds and restores its health bar. Iðunn apples are crafted with an apple and 8 emeralds.

Potions

Note: potions added by Elemental Creatures can't be brewed or obtained on survival mode. These potions are required to add its respective tipped arrows. If you make a mod/modpack that depends on Elemental Creatures, you'll have to manually add the brewing recipes for these potions.

  • Added potion of decay. This potion inflicts Wither when consumed.
    • Potions of decay have splash and lingering variants.
  • Added potion of blindness. This potion inflicts Blindness when consumed.
    • Potions of blindness have splash and lingering variants.

Texture changes

  • The Putrid texture has been reworked to differentiate from vanilla's Bogged.
  • The Dried texture has been reworked to differentiate from vanilla's Parched.

QoL

  • Now, every mob that has a transformation starts shacking a few seconds before transforming (like vanilla Zombies when converting to Drowneds).
  • Wither skeletons now shoot arrows of decay.
