Changelog
26.3.1.0.4 โ datapack 1.0.4, for Minecraft 26.3
First public release.
- Empty villages come back. At nightfall, near a player, a village with a bell, 2 or more free beds and fewer than 2 villagers gets one villager back, standing on a free bed.
- Uses the villagers' own logic to find beds and bells: no block scanning. A bed and a bell count when they are within about 48 blocks and reachable on foot.
- Players' respawn beds are left alone. An online player's respawn bed is never counted as free and never given away.
- Pacing: two villagers over two nights per bell, then a 30-night rest.
- A firework over the bell when a villager returns (sparkles and sound instead of a rocket if a player is within 8 blocks of its launch point, the top of the column above the bell), an action-bar line for players within 64 blocks, and a hidden Village Reborn advancement.
- No tick loop. Starts from a once-a-night event per player; the short follow-up check, which runs only while probe villagers are out, stops by itself within thirty seconds.
/function elkonia:villagers_reborn/admin/uninstallremoves the pack's state before you delete it.
