Changes
Elytra Cam v1.0.0 (Initial Release)
The first official release of Elytra Cam is here! Say goodbye to the jarring vanilla F5 camera snap and enjoy smooth, cinematic flights.
✨ Features
- Smooth Camera Transitions: Added fluid camera lerping that smoothly zooms out to third-person when you start gliding, and eases back into first-person when you land.
- Smart Tick Delays: Added a configurable delay system so the camera doesn't shift if you are just jumping down short ledges.
- Rocket-Only Trigger: Added an optional toggle that restricts the perspective shift to only happen after you use a firework rocket.
- Persistent Flight Mode: Added an option to lock the camera in third-person for the entire duration of a rocket-boosted flight until your boots touch the ground.
- Manual Override Compatibility: Built-in logic that respects manual F5 presses. If you manually change your perspective while flying, the mod backs off and lets you take control.
⚙️ Configuration
- Fully integrated with Cloth Config and Mod Menu.
- Access the in-game settings screen to tweak transition speeds, tick delays, and trigger rules on the fly without restarting your game.
📝 Requirements
- Minecraft: 1.21.11
- Loader: Fabric
- Required Dependencies: Fabric API, Cloth Config API, ModMenu
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
